My name is Valarie and I live in Phoenix, Az.    www.valarieconnell.com

 I love to paint and draw. I love faeries and angels and Celtic knots. I have been drawing since I was a kid, but have only spent the last few years really trying to do a great job at my art. I am also always trying new techniques and mediums to express myself.  I have several degrees (not in art) and I am currently in school for my master's (counseling w/a speciality in Art Therapy). I would love to one day sell my pieces.

I love all that is Celtic and inspired by nature and folklore. The pagan spiritual path is so awe-inspiring in its self and lends to beautiful artwork. With this said, I am a PAGAN who follows the Mother Goddess, by route of the Irish Celtic belief. This is my personal spiritual belief and is right for me!! Music and books are also very dear and inspiring for me.

I enjoy people leaving feedback about my work, but please be gentle. I know I am far from perfect and need a lot of work. I am my worst critic! As of now, I am in the process of taking some art classes. ;) (YEA!!) So, please if you stop by, leave a little something of yourself on the way out. I will also make sure to do that same for you on your site.
